The continuous flow fabrication of nanoscopic Al(OH)3 was achieved. The effectiveness of synthesized Al(OH)3 as a heat sink material was evaluated. The phase transition of Al(OH)3 during its heat sink action was verified. The synergism between Al(OH)3 and intumescent flame retardant agent was investigated. Self-extinguish multi-component epoxy nanocomposite was developed.
