The shielding properties of boro-tellurite (B2O3-TeO2) glasses were evaluated.
Geometric progression (GP) method was used to calculate the gamma ray energy absorption (EABF) and exposure buildup factors (EBF).
The obtained data were calculated in the energy range 0.015–15 MeV, up to 40 mfp.
The results indicate that the boro-tellurite glasses can be used as radiation shielding materials.
