Chemical precipitation method avoids the formation of agglomerates. Doped material is small, which makes it an effective nanocomposite material. Mn2+ acts as recombination center and gives its characteristic luminescence. Mn2+occupies distorted octahedral site symmetry in the host lattice. The color coordinates shifts from green to white.
