Near-infrared emission from binuclear platinum (II) complexes containing pyrenylpyridine and pyridylthiolate units: Synthesis, photo-physical and electroluminescent properties
Binuclear Pt (II) complexes containing pyrenylpyridine and pyridyl-thiolate units were synthesized. The optical, electrochemical and electroluminescent properties were investigated. NIR emission peaks at 692 and 753 nm are observed in the binuclear Pt (II) complexes doped PLEDs. The maximum EQE of 0.74% and a radiant intensity of 123.40 μw.cm−2 are obtained in the devices.
