Supercritical methyl acetate (SCMA), glycerin-free process for converting total algal lipids into fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs) and triacetin (TA). Triacetin (additive) is miscible with FAME and can be readily used as biodiesel fuel (BDF). Micro-elemental analysis (CHNOS) of total algal lipid and algal biodiesel fuel samples.
