Drag-reducing CTAC solution flows on heating plate was experimentally studied.

Fluid functionality depends on temperature, local shear rate, and CTAC concentration.

Destruction and recovery conditions of micellar-network structures were estimated.

We used effective structural number of micelles to link HTR to fluid flow condition.

Minimum structural number for functionality was proposed as percolation threshold.
