Ultra-high pressure technique was applied on La–Mg–Ni-based alloy.

It tends to generate (La,Mg)Ni3 phase during the pressuring process.

Ultra-high pressure produce more crack on the surface of (La,Mg)Ni3 phase.

Ultra-high pressure impedes the hydrogen diffusion resulting in the decrease of HRD.
