Caoping and Shahewan intrusions in the South Qinling emplaced during ca. 221–210 Ma
The MMEs were produced from phlogopite-bearing metasomatized lithospheric mantle.
The granitoids were derived from crust–mantle interaction processes.
Temperature may play a key role for rapakivi textures of granitoids.
These granitoid intrusions were formed in a westward propagating slab tear setting.
