The penetration of renewables in Swedish public bus fleets reached ca. 60% in 2014. Public bus emissions per vehicle-km have decreased by 43% between 2007 and 2014. Efforts are needed to improve energy efficiency in bus transport. Electricity is likely to receive increased attention according to expert survey.
