Test reference years of 18 locations in South Korea were generated in accordance with ISO 15927-4. Test reference years in this study have a good representativeness of long-term climate conditions. Impact factors of different climatic parameters on building energy consumption are investigated. Temperature has a great influence on the energy demand in winter, and solar irradiance in summer. Building energy demand caused by the dehumidification in summer should be considered.
