The highest concentrations of trace metals from the studied mushrooms were recorded for Mn from site A. The results showed more concentrations of trace metals in the stalks compared with the caps. Transfer factor showed that Cr, Mn, Co and Zn were bio-accumulated from the soil by the mushrooms. In general the highest concentrations of all trace metals were recorded from white button. Some of the elements such as Zn, Cr, and Co were not within the safe limits set by WHO in food.
