Anterior-posterior gradient in sleep pressure correlated with sleep resistance and age. The correlation with sleep resistance persisted after accounting for age. Anterior-posterior gradient in sleep pressure was higher in sleep-resistant adults. Anterior-posterior gradient in sleep pressure was higher in young adults.
