Clarithromycin (CAM)-conjugating Sepharose was created using a CAM derivative. Mitochondrial NIP-SNAP-1, -2 and VLCAD were identified as CAM binding proteins. Knockdown of NIP-SNAPs suppressed LPS-induced IL-8 and IL-6, and NF-κB activation.
