Diabetes Mellitus (DM) increased laminin deposition on salivary glands in rats. The effect of the laminin deposition was similar to the kidney. Laminin deposition increased during the aging processing in non-diabetic rats. Old non-diabetic rats had similar laminin deposition than young rats with 30 DM.
