Necessity of regular surface washing and excess undissolved salt were observed. Pond’s temperature increase rate was strongly affected by the ambient temperature. The increase in pond temperature with depth was due to solar radiation. Proper insulation can maintain a higher temperature difference between NCZ and LCZ. Salinity disturbance can significantly impact the temperature stability of the pond.
