We present a Lagrangian-Eulerian hybrid model for poly-disperse particle flows. This model requires considerably less resources than a multi-fluid approach. The model is validated for an industrial-scale cyclone separator. Agglomeration is important to predict separation efficiency of small particles. The installation of an apex cone increases separation of small particles.
