Rapidly solidified fine-grain NiTi alloy with enhanced shape memory effect and recovery ratio. Optimized two-way shape memory effect of NiTi alloy for making AAS bio-actuator functioning in 35–55 °C. Combined effect of rapid solidification and optimal constraint-aging on size and distribution of Ni4Ti3 precipitates. Strongly oriented nano-scale Ni4Ti3 precipitates lead to improved two-way shape memory effect in narrow temperature range.
