A non-modified pomegranate peel (PGP) (raw PGP) was used for Copper Cu(II) removal. The characterization of the Adsorbent was made using (FTIR), TG/DTA, Boehm titration analysis and point of zero charge (pHpzc). Isotherm Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin and Dubinin–Radushkevich models were applied. Kinetics Pseudo-first order Pseudo-second order, Intra-particle diffusion and Elovich models were applied. Thermodynamic and FTIR analysis were carried out to better understand adsorption mechanism.
