An improved understanding of the origin and mechanism of Permian-Triassic natural gas-condensate accumulations in the Gavbendi High, Southwest Iran: An integrated approach
Detailed geochemical analyses on 11 gas and associated condensate samples were performed. Kangan Formation acts as an important source rock in the Gavbendi High. Low extent of thermal cracking occurred in the gas accumulations. Maturity, migration and multiple charging are very important controlling processes.
