Inertial sensors have many potential benefits when assessing gait in children. The MobilityLab inertial sensor system has yet to be validated for use in children. The system was accurate for temporal but not for spatial measures in children. A corrective equation was developed to improve spatial measures in children. MobilityLab system is valid for gait analysis in children if correction is applied.
