Kinetic modelling of the phase transformation of shape memory alloys was conducted. The kinetic model can describe the heating rate effect on the phase transformation. A Linearity method was developed for estimating the kinetic parameters. The Linearity method gives more accurate results of the kinetic parameters. A new specific heat capacity model was also developed.
