Capillary electrophoresis with online stacking in combination with AgNPs@MCM-41 reinforced hollow fiber solid-liquid phase microextraction for quantitative analysis of Capecitabine and its main metabolite 5-Fluorouracil in plasma samples isolated from cancer patients
A novel strategy based on AgNPs@MCM41-HF-SLPME-FASI-CE was developed and validated for the first time. Simultaneous quantitation of Capecitabine and its major metabolite (5-Fluorouracil) in human plasma was accomplished. AgNPs@MCM41-HF-SLPME was used for isolation of parent drug and metabolite from plasma. Validation procedure was based on FDA guideline and the results demonstrated satisfactory analytical performance data. The validated assay was used to determine the selected compounds in real samples collected from cancer patients.
