Water stress affects growth, essential oil quality and biociadal activity of lavender and Greek sage plants. Water stress reduced plant growth and altered chemical composition. Water stressed sage plants induced antioxidant activity. Sage water stressed plants benefited in essential oil yield and quality. Lavender EO under MWD caused higher mortality to T. urticae females, than EO under AI.
