Synthesis and catalytic properties of silver nanoparticles supported on porous cellulose acetate sheets and wet-spun fibers

Porous cellulose acetate wet-spun fibers and sheets were prepared. They were used as immobilizing substrates for silver nanoparticles. These materials were used as catalysts in the degradation of the 2,6-dinitrophenol. The 2,6-ditrophenol toxin elimination has never been reported in the literature. The used catalysts were easily recovered by just pulling them from solutions.
