The use of magnetron sputtering for the deposition of thin titanium coatings on the surface of bioresorbable electrospun fibrous scaffolds for vascular tissue engineering: A pilot study
Thin titanium coatings were deposed on the surface of PCL/PHBV electrospun scaffolds. DC magnetron sputtering allows for deposition of titanium coatings on scaffold surface. Discharge power and treatment time affect PCL/PHBV electrospun scaffolds properties. Obtained coatings enhance proangiogenic activity of PCL/PHBV electrospun scaffolds.
