Staphylococci isolated from ready-to-eat meat were analyzed.

All isolates were identified as coagulase-negative staphylococci.

S. equorum and S. vitulinus were the most prevalent species.

68% of isolates exhibited antibiotic resistance.

80% of isolates harbored SAgs genes.
