Post-yield material properties not guaranteed by any steel manufacturer Extensive statistical analysis of 225 post-yield properties of stress-strain curves Yield plateau found to exhibit a statistically significant positive gradient of 0.3%. Small gradient may be sufficient to allow full plasticity at realistic slendernesses.
