Daily urinary steroid metabolite excretion of treated children with CAH are presented. 11β-Hydroxyandrosterone was the dominant urinary adrenal-derived androgen metabolite. Adrenarche is blunted in children with CAH under hydrocortisone treatment. Cortisol metabolite excretion reflected supraphysiological hydrocortisone treatment dosage.
