Radiologic practitioners face greater expectations for direct patient communication. Conveying serious news is the most common of challenging radiologic conversations. Inexperience and gaps in communication education hamper radiologic practitioners. Clinical uncertainty poses communicative challenges for radiologic practitioners. Interprofessional radiologic teamwork amplifies communicative demands.
