The intactness of BLA is required for the companions-exerted suppressive effect on the cocaine-induced CPP. Activation of D2 receptor in the BLA is required for the companions-exerted suppressive effect on the CPP. The presence of wooden blocks in the cocaine conditioning may not produce suppressive effect on the cocaine-induced CPP.
