In situ methylmercury production occurs in stormwater ponds and habitat wetlands. Methylmercury production and accumulation lower in stormwater ponds. Little within-wetland spatial variation in MeHg accumulation. Emergent aquatic vegetation did not markedly increase MeHg accumulation.
