MOR receptor is able to modulate Dopamine release in Dorsal Striatum. Modulation of dopamine release could be exerted in a subregion-dependent manner. Our work may support the existence of MOR receptors at presynaptical level onto dopaminergic neurons in rostral and caudal poles.
