Self-assembly and morphology change of four organic-polyoxometalate hybrids with different solid structures from 2D lamellar to 3D hexagonal forms

Four hybrids containing europium and polymolybdate clusters were synthesized. Flower, deformed spherical and hexagonal self-assembly morphology of four hybrids were investigated by SEM and TEM. Relevance between self-assembly behaviors with different polyanions was explored. Solid accumulation from ordered 2D layered to 3D hexagon structure was explained.
