Pali-Aike mantle xenoliths represent an extensively degassed and intrinsic SCLM.

SCLM shows high 4He/3He = 104000, 21Ne/22Ne(E) = 0.09, and 40Ar/36Ar(E) = 54000.

MORB-like metasomatism could be explained by recent slab window beneath Patagonia.

Pali-Aike SCLM have, at least, a similar excess of 129Xe and 136Xe to that of MORB.
