In Apulia, semi-extensive dairy sheep and goat farms are affected by Paratubercolosis. Providing detailed economic information for decision makers is crucial. The impact of MAP on profit efficiency in semi-extensive flocks is assessed. Several farmer-related, productive and managerial factors contribute to farm inefficiency. The highlighted hot spots could assure effectiveness and efficiency to future intervention plans.
