LC-GHG emissions and costs of cane harvesting practices are assessed. Mechanized harvesting has moderate GHG emissions but highest harvesting cost. Manually cut green cane is good for the environment but faces labor shortage. Options for environmentally sustainably harvesting practices are recommended.
