QuEChERS and LC/MS/MS were used to determine diethofencarb residues in/on crown daisy.

The effects of various washing procedures as well as washing solutions and additives on the decline rate were also investigated.

The method was validated for accurate and precise quantitation.

Washing with stagnant and running water significantly reduced the residue levels compared to unwashed samples.

Detergent (1%) significantly attenuate the residues in/on crown daisy compared to unwashed samples.
