The first reported case of unexpected death due to ruptured mediastinal seminoma. A complete autopsy has crucial role in establishing the cause of unexplained death. Postmortem investigation can protect legal benefits of the deceased. Unexpected loss of this case may be prevented by a simple chest X-ray checkup.
