The adsorption of SDS on kaolinite increased with increasing salt concentration. Presence of electrolytes enhances the stability of SDS foam below the CMC of SDS. Optimum SDS concentration corresponding to maximum foam stability exist for SDS- foam. Salts can minimized surfactant usage for SDS-foam below the CMC of SDS. screening effect of electrostatic double layer (EDL) by salts affects SDS foam.
