Heterospecific-derived extracts reduce coral larval survivorship. Larval swimming behavior was altered after exposure to extracts. Coral larval settlement was reduced after exposure to heterospecific-derived extracts. Conspecific-derived extracts promote settlement but do not affect larval survivorship.
