This review represents biogenic synthesis of zinc oxide (ZnO) NPs. Plant extracts and microbes mediated synthesis of ZnO NPs have been explored. Procedures used for fabrication of ZnO NPS have been discussed. Mechanism of synthesis of formation and applications of ZnO NPs have been explained. This method of fabrication of NPs have been found to be eco-friendly, green, simple and single step technique.
