Plant Dicer-like proteins have Platform domain similar to Giardia and human Dicers. Assembling of the AtDCL-dsRNA complex was performed using NMA and template-based approaches. The arrangement of the Platform and PAZ domains, rather than the length of the Connector, are responsible for the size of Dicer products.
