Land use structural effects on the efficiency of mitigation of GHG emission. Identification of trade-offs among land use structural impacts at regional scale. Bridge the gap of regional spatial planning and emission mitigation target. Forest land has significant impacts at the middle reach of the Heihe River Basin. Agriculture at 0.5–0.6 level of emission intensity is higher than the tertiary sector.
