Our paper-based SILAR-fabricated SNP-induced LSPR model is valid for understanding SNP-induced LSPR effects. The simulated enhancement factor was similar to the experimental enhancement factor. A 633-nm excitation laser source showed the highest mean electric field intensity. A 532-nm excitation laser source resulted in the highest maximum local electric field intensity.
