A novel method of producing test agglomerates was presented. Compression and impact tests were performed to investigate the agglomerate breakage. The effects of sample orientations, loading directions and bond strength on the breakage behaviour were addressed. This new method will allow more rigorous testing of agglomerate breakage models.
