The method of SR XRF was used to study 26 elements and their physiologically important ratios in small bulk leave samples of Lonicera caerulea L. collected in the zone of active tectonic fault in post aftershock period of Chuya earthquake (after 2004). During the highest seismic activity under the influence of hypogene emanations the concentration of K, Fe, Cu, Ti, V, Zr and Nb in plants decreased and Ca, Ba, Br, I and Sr increased. Deterioration of ratios of Fe/Mn and Cu/Zn which are optimal for this species had a reliable influence on the change of secondary metabolism. Measurements were performed using SR from the VEPP-3 storage ring.
