Early Paleozoic and Neoproterozoic zircon ages are reported in the Xitieshan terrane. Three types of eclogite protoliths are identified in the Xitieshan terrane. The Neoproterozoic metamorphism is related to the worldwide Grenville orogeny. A multiple tectonic evolution model from Neoproterozoic to Paleozoic is presented.
