Acoustic field characteristics in double-inlet pulse tube refrigerator (DPTR) with Gedeon streaming are presented. Interaction between enthalpy flow rate carried by Gedeon streaming and local temperature is analyzed. A new explanation for impact of Gedeon streaming on efficiency of DPTR is addressed.
