This article systematically investigates a SC-CO2 impinging jet on the wellbore pressures and temperatures. A high temperature and pressure vessel was used to observe the jet structure character intuitively. Ambient pressure affects jet energy transfer though flow resistance and ambient density. A predicate equation is listed to calculate the impinging pressure.
