The influence of reduction temperature on the performance of ZrOx/Ni-MnOx/SiO2 catalyst for low-temperature CO2 reforming of methane

ZrOx/Ni-MnOx/SiO2 catalyst showed high low temperature catalytic activity. ZrOx/Ni-MnOx/SiO2 catalyst facilitated the formation of intermediate formates. Being reduced at 550 °C, the catalyst showed the highest catalytic activity. Being reduced at 550 °C, the catalyst showed high content of surface Ni species. Small particles size of Ni species with narrow distribution was obtained.
